Yves Laliberté was “born to write” and began a series of action novels for children at the age of eleven. He became a professor at the University of Ottawa at twenty-one. He has a PhD in French Literature and has published a number of scholarly books. Also, at one time, a “beach bum” in southern Spain to Hawaii via Cancun and the Florida Keys. He is a keen player on ball fields and ice rinks, but also an expert in parliamentary procedure, having worked with members of Canada's House of Commons.
