Sublingual is a meditation on a lesbian love affair and explores BDSM, tragedy and the aetiology of pathological expectation that eventually reversed the dynamics of the relationship. The author addresses her own dysfunction through esotericism, witchcraft, humour and resignation, to form an apologetic conclusion to the meaning of what it is to be in love with a younger and impressionable member of her own sex in the twenty-first century.
