A CLASSIC WORK BY THE BELOVED COLIN WILSON

First published in 1965, this iconic collection by a great philosopher contains essays on David Lindsay, L.H. Myers, George Bernard Shaw, Ayn Rand & Henry Williamson, among others. Wilson’s eclectic style is displayed in essays that range over John Cowper Powys and Ernest Hemingway, Nietzche and the modern novel. In print again for the first time, this edition brings to light new studies in existentialism from a great master.

Colin Henry Wilson (26 June 1931 - 5 December 2013) was a prolific english writer who first came to prominence as a philosopher and novelist. he also wrote widely on true crime, mysticism and the paranormal. Wilson preferred calling his philosophy ‘new existentialism’ or ‘phenomenological existentialism'.

Edited  with new annotations by Colin Stanley with an introductory essay by Gary Lachman
