The London Book Fair In Person Event Cancelled for 2021

Due to the pandemic, the world famous London Book Fair's full-scale in-person event has been postponed to 2022, cancelled for a second year running.

This news is set to be a disappointment to all of us in the publishing industry. The London Book Fair is a marketplace of trade, promotion, and acceleration for the publishers, big and small. As a small press, events such as the London Book Fair are crucial for our discoverability and exposure, and this news is a sign for us that this year could be another difficult one!

We will, however, be attending the Online Book Fair in June 2021 and while we don't currently anticipate this can be as effective at establishing synergies, and new opportunities, as a 3-4 day event with tens of thousands of people from across the world meeting up in-person across hundreds of displays and stands in giant halls filled with posters, books and other samples, with readings, wine receptions, and coffee and agent meetings, we hope to see some of you online and look forward to hopefully collaborating with you!
