Good news, we can now congratulate all 21 of the authors, poets and screenwriters/dramatists shortlisted for this most eclectic of global writing prizes. We will whittle this down to three finalists, one in each of the following genre categories: poetry/drama; fiction; non-fiction. And from there, to a final winner, to be published by BSPG in its 40th year, 2024. The announcement should be in the next few months if not sooner. We believe this is a truly diverse group of authors and are greatly impressed by the superb quality of these submissions, and indeed, the ones we could not shortlist.
