One of Jack Reacher's more recent, best-selling adventures, was titled No Plan B. And it seems like our motto also. It speaks to resilience, dedication, and a determination to follow the A Plan, rain or shine, to get the job done.
Our mission at BSPG is simple - to survive, and thrive, as a very small micro-press, in a challenging world economy, at a time of global volatility, especially in the UK, where we are based.
We are not quitting, we hope, any time soon, and we have a book worked on with us by Lee Child, Reacher's creator, to help us get to a more successful place, we expect within weeks and months. CrimeBits volume one, just out in hardcover in the UK two days ago, and out in the USA in that format October 1st, will soon be followed by the paperback (UK October 1st, USA November 1st).
We already have over 6,000 orders for these books, and more to follow any day now. This would be our first indie best-seller since the pandemic, and we look forward to it freeing us to do more faster and get a lot of other books into final printing.
One of the books waiting to come out (October 13th) is about Taylor Swift, and it also has orders and is climbing the Amazon orders ranking also. And we have other good news to share about recent and forthcoming titles, soon.
But for now, and for just a few weeks longer, our main focus and aim is to get our Lee Child book out into the world, and help it sell really well, so the press thrives, and our other authors thrive also.
And that's a great plan, is it not?
