The whole Eyewear family is devastated at the sudden and awful news that Pete Shelley has died, as reported in media around the world. Pete was a musical genius. He was also very witty, cultured, and sensitive, and we're so honoured to have become the publisher for his Collected Lyrics.
The launch for the book with Malcolm Garrett was such a wonderful event. Pete's finest songs will inspire lovelorn outsiders and cock-eyed rebels forever - and his 'Homosapien' remains one of the best songs about tolerance and love ever written. Our condolences to his family, loved ones, and friends.
