We mourn his death, and offer our sincere and solemn condolences to the Royal Family, and especially HRH The Queen.
Prince Philip was a faithful husband, a loyal public servant, a brave war hero, a great supporter of many causes and organisations, especially to do with youth, sport, science, and the outdoors, and a truly remarkable individual, who lived his life with rare knowledge of duty and dedication.
He added so much to the history of these isles during his long and meaningful life. He was and is loved, he will be greatly missed.
