Frontline Heroes - New Book Alert!

Frontline Heroes - New Book Alert!

We are proud to announce that we are publishing a book of art dedicated to the work of our frontline workers by MJ Hiblen.

As a collective species, we are valuing our frontline workers more than ever and The Black Spring Eyewear Press Group would like to take part in celebrating them.

Over the past few months, the inspiring comic book art of MJ Hiblen has touched hearts across the world – his more than 325,000 followers on social media include fans like Mark Hamill and Thor’s Chris Hemsworth. Hiblen has highlighted, in epic illustrations, through his beloved medium of graphic-novel art, just how important and heroic our brave Frontline workers have been in this time of Covid-19.

Now, here, is the ultimate edition to celebrate the year of the everyday heroes, who changed our way of seeing the world of work and heroism – a picture book without words, timeless, universal, and finally, both heart-breaking and ennobling. Frontline Heroes is the book to give to anyone who has known and appreciated these heroes, or who wants to recall the best part of ourselves, in the worst of times. With an Introduction by comic legend Geof Isherwood (Marvel illustrator of Dr Strange, Thor and other classic titles).

Featuring frontline workers battling and defeating the Coronavirus – in hospitals, in shops, and on our streets.

With over 40 full-colour illustrations, and black and white sketches.

88 pages, High-Quality paper, Hardcover.

This first-run limited edition of 1000 copies is both an historic document of who we are, and a beautiful work in its own right. One of the books of 2020. THERE ARE STILL SEVERAL HUNDRED SIGNED COPIES AVAILABLE, ORDER NOW!

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to support frontline workers.

I am a doctor, a cardiologist in training, on the frontline in NYC – Brooklyn. I was extremely touched by your art. It is rebellious, it is full of emotions. We are all, as the entire world, humanity fighting a common enemy: COVID19. Your art brought hope, shed some lights amid the darkness.
Iam also extremely humbled that one my picture inspired you.
