EYEWEAR LAUNCHES SPRING LIST AT BLOOMSBURY'S FAMOUS BOOKSHOP!

EYEWEAR SPRING LIST LAUNCH ON ST PADDY'S DAY 17 MARCH 2017

AT WORLD-FAMOUS LONDON REVIEW BOOKSHOP, IN BLOOMSBURY

Eyewear Publishing is famous for launching many of its titles in style, at the legendary bookshop in Bloomsbury near the British Museum, The London Review Bookshop - home to a superb collection of poetry books, watched over by resident poet, John Clegg.

Tomorrow's launch will feature the usual stellar cast of idiosyncratic, cleverly yoked-together readers, each launching their new book from the feisty indie press, fresh off of big successes at the AWP conference in Washington, DC and the London Book Fair.

The launch reading starts at 7 pm, running until 9 pm, with brief readings from seven poets, two who have flown in from North America. As always, Eyewear does not stint on the booze. There will be plenty of wine, whisky, and Guinness for St Patrick's Day.

A special treat….it is the birthday of Dick Witts, former lead singer of post-punk classic band, The Passage. He will be on hand to read from his new Eyewear book. Another landmark anniversary will be celebrated - it will be 29 years since Todd Swift launched MAP-MAKERS' COLOURS: NEW POETS OF NORTHERN IRELAND on St Patrick's Day, 1988.

Readers will be:

Mariela Griffor from USA

Marion McCready from Scotland

U.S. Dhuga from Canada

Kate Noakes from France

Jason Lee from UK

Isabel Rogers from UK

and Dick Witts of Post-Punk band The Passage

Readings begin at 7.15 pm sharp, at the London Review Bookshop. Admission free.
