We often mention the struggles small presses face, but culturally, our authors continue to inspire and amaze us.
For instance, our poet Travis Mossotti, author of Racecar Jesus, one of the best poetry books of recent years, is a featured reader at the Southbank Centre next Wednesday for a special Forward Poetry Prize event.
Our poet, author of Technelegy, the artist and technology thought-leader Sasha Stiles is to give a major talk on art, poetry and AI at a California event in October for leading Tech and investment experts - last year the speaker was football legend Tom Brady, to put this in context.
And, our poetry critic, Professor Mark Ford, of UCL, is to launch his latest collection of essays with us, at UCL, end of October. The last time we published a book of his essays, it won a major prize.
But, as if that was not enough, the great writer Margaret Drabble has endorsed our forthcoming memoir, A Boy On The Beach, by Holder & Swan.
