This news is very exciting for us as Andrew appears in our upcoming 'Best New British and Irish Poets 2019-2021' and his poem 'My Golden Coast' gripped us immediately - pre-order for the anthology is available now.
Andrew Geoffrey Kwabena Moss is a writer and teacher who has lived in the UK, Japan and currently Australia. Of Anglo-Ghanaian heritage, his work seeks to explore and challenge liminal landscapes, complex identities and the social constructs of race. Three of his poems will be appear in The Black Anthology, 10:10 Press, later this year.
Andrew made the following statement regarding his signing:
'I am delighted to be releasing my debut collection ‘Childish Recollections’ with The Black Spring Press Group, a publisher that boldly amplifies outsider and underrepresented maverick voices. My book explores my transition from childhood to adulthood; from moving from Ghana to the UK in 1977 aged 2 to leaving university in 1996.'
