A new voice with an assured selection of poems, Tichborne’s poetry is tightly constructed, sparsely written yet expansive in its imagery and emotions. There is also a pleasingly awkward take on life, deeply felt and memorable.
Beth Tichborne works as a printer in East Oxford and is involved in anti-austerity and anti-war activism. She graduated from Oxford University in 2008 where she studied Italian and Philosophy.

Taken together they evoke a surreal landscape populated with poems with satisfying, surprising endings – Mike Kavanagh
